Buckley House in Marietta

Excellent food! We enjoyed crab cakes and steak with sides of the scalloped potatoes. Prices are higher than the average in the area but the food is worth the money. Close quarters in the restaurant every table was full. Must have reservations!

Hummus was so smooth and savory- though it’s not on the limited menu- was able to get the Fatoosh salad- it’s a must have menu item- freshness and combinations of tomatoes, cucumbers and dressing was so good!

The best in the area period!

Amazing. I have taken clients to the Buckley House that have ate at top resteraunt across the world. They have all said it was better then anywhere they had eaten. Atmosphere great.

Incredible and unique food. The rosewater saffron rice pudding was the most delicate, interesting dessert I’ve had in this area by far. The lobster bisque was delicious. I’ll definitely be returning soon as this place is a hidden gem.

Can't wait to try a dinner here...the lunch buffet is awesome, the setting quite comfortable .. superb eatery! FINE Indo- Mediterranean foods that please the palate and the prices are quite reasonable! GOOD STUFF!!

I have ALWAYS had the most delicious meals and great service at The Buckely House! My nephew and niece who travel the world say nothing they've eaten anywhere has been better! This is my Go-To restaurant to take loved ones for a super special dining experience!

Beautiful neighborhood. The house is a bit tightly packed, but the staff are so professional and polite. The prices are a bit high but the food is very much worth it. There are a variety of dishes that anyone is sure to enjoy. They were very knowledgeable and helpful about catering to my Celiac Disease, which prevents me from eating gluten. Definitely dress nicely when you go.

Wonderful lunch buffet with quite a few vegan options! Thanks to the chef for whipping up some pasta without cheese when three vegans walked in.

The Buckley House provided an excellent dining experience from start to finish. The location across from Muskingum park is idyllic. The house is historically beautiful. Our server was Maddie and she did a great job. The atmosphere is upscale and cozy. We dined on the covered back deck of the house looking over the garden, pond, and gazebo. I had the tenderloin which was delicious and perfectly cooked. The seabass was the special and not only was it tasty but the portions were very large. I cant wait for our next visit.

We consider this the best restaurant we have available in the area.Greek fare, done very well. Lamb, steak, seafood and more. The have constant specisls.I will note that the price goes with the quality. You can spend quite a lot on your meal, but we have never complained.

Besides going in underdressed (we went there after a day of traveling and had no idea it is fine dining), we had an amazing time haha! So cute, good food, and service was amazing. Mostly enjoyed it for the atmosphere.

Visit was may 17,2019 . The place is awesome. The service is fantastic. We had a large party of 9 and were placed in a room with 3 other smaller tables. Reservations were made. A few days before our arrival. Everything was fine until the waiter Micheal was so rude. I cannot believe the way he treated us by yelling in the face of one of our girls . The wife owner was less concerned about Michael actions. And stated eveybody can make mistakes. Referring toMichael. Michael did offer a very rude apology. Which is not acceptable. The chef owner also came out and sincerely apologized. Which was excepted. And we all agreed if Michael is there next year when we go. We will not attend the Buckley house. Plus we were not offer gift certificates to returned or discounted or dinners. Michael screamed at the other table and said we had been loud and stayed over two hours. We were there at 6 and left at 7:37. The attitude of the waiter will break this beautiful century home restaurant.

This is a 5 star quality food, menu, service and chef. Quiet little intimate cozy setting. It is a gem.

Chef's food and service was amazing

This place has an exclusive and high end feel to it. Inside a historic house in downtown Marietta you don’t expect a meal and service to be anywhere this good! Food is delicious and we were told not to order off the menu but to pick from the specials instead. We were not disappointed either. Everything was fresh and paired well together. Adam our server was passionate and knowledgeable about everything and even provided recommendations. We will be back for our next special occasion.

One of the best restaurants i have ever been to! The food was exquisite! The atmosphere was beautiful! The waiters were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly. The owner and chef was a great person and was very personable! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. It was priced very fairly for the quality of the food you receive! Everything is prepared fresh every day and was fantastic! It was one of the best dinning experiences we have ever had! Out for a great date night meal at The Buckley House.Chef Tom and the new owners Jeff and Julie haven't missed a beat in the transition. The food was terrific and there were a few new menu items to consider. Clearly they can deliver the same great food we've come to expect so I can't wait to see what personal touches they add to this Marietta favorite.

My boyfriend surprised me on Sat. night by taking me to the Buckley House in Marietta. The atmosphere was so pleasant and romantic. I had the Salmon with Peaches. The presentation of the food was beautiful. That was the most delicious meal I have ever had. Can't wait to go back. Thank you for making our night so special.

The food and service were both outstanding, five star plus. I presents an intimate, comfortable atmosphere perfect in every way. The chef goes out of his way to accommodate specific dietary needs if possible and he is made aware. All in all this was a perfect family dinner experience.

The food was amazing and wait staff was awesome. The ambience was ok. To be fair, it is just not our style, but it matches what most people would expect within a historic house. However, the overall experience was incredible with some of the best food I've ever experienced. Thank you Buckley House for a wonderful evening.

Delicious food, but items can get a little pricey. I highly recommend this place to eat. Awesome place to go for special occasions.

Had a Mediterranean Lunch buffet that was fantastic. Even though very nicely upscale, went casual and had very friendly service. Recommend driving the extra mile off I-77 and pass by the chain restaurants to eat at this gem!

Got the watermelon salad and the Mediterranean sampler. The food was great excellent, the owner was kind enough to let me put my bike somewhere safe, and the staff were very friendly. Awesome experience!

Every time I go here the food is always incredible and the servers are very polite. Marietta is my hometown and this is by far my favorite place to visit! Next time I will enjoy their beautiful patio outback! 😁

This is one of the best restaurants in the Marietta/ Parkersburg area. The food is made from scratch and seafood is delivered twice a week. The ambiance is nice and the seating area is ok the form of tables in the Buckley house rooms. I’ve tried the lamb in the past too and it was amazingly delicious.

Very nice food, excellent service. A little bit on the expensive side but worth it on special occasions.
